We spent a week with friends exploring the San Francisco Bay Area. We got to walk around San Leandro, Oakland, San Francisco, and Sausalito, and hiked in Muir Woods National Monument and Pinnacles National Park. The weather was beautiful and the timing fortuitous; we missed an East Coast cold spell that sent temperatures plunging in our absence (-4F in my hometown in NY!). We also tried out a Waymo for the first time.

San Francisco is such a hilly and beautiful city. I wish I had brought my camera on this trip.
Riding a Waymo was really cool. I found the driving very smooth, yet not overly conservative like I’d imagined.
